Guwahati (Assam) [India], January 3: The trailer and music of the much-anticipated Assamese feature film Gulai Soor were officially launched on Friday at the AIDEO Cinema Hall in Guwahati, owned by the Assam State Film (Finance and Development) Corporation.
Produced as a collaboration between the Assam State Film (Finance and Development) Corporation Ltd and Zeng Entertainment, Gulai Soor is directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Raktim Kamal Barua. The film promises a unique cinematic experience that showcases Assam’s rich cultural heritage and storytelling traditions.
The film boasts a stellar cast, including notable actors Kenny Basumatary, Himangshu Prasad Das, Jayanta Das, Bonny Basumatary, and several other talented performers, all of whom contribute their exceptional craft to the project.
The launch event was attended by key dignitaries, along with the film’s cast and crew, marking a significant moment for Assamese cinema. The film’s music, carefully composed to enhance the storytelling, has already generated considerable buzz and is expected to resonate deeply with audiences.
Gulai Soor is slated for release on January 17.
