Tom Hardy & Pierce Brosnan’s ‘MobLand’ Renewed For Season 2 On Paramount+

Los Angeles, June 23: The gritty crime drama ‘MobLand’, starring Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan, has officially been renewed for Season 2 on Paramount+, according to a report by Variety.

The series debuted in March 2025, with the Season 1 finale airing on June 1. Paramount revealed that Episode 1 has garnered over 26 million viewers globally, measured by total watch time divided by the episode’s duration within the first 70 days of streaming.

Paramount+ also confirmed that MobLand has become its second most-watched original series of all time, surpassed only by Taylor Sheridan’s hit show ‘Landman’.

MobLand: Crime, Power & Loyalty

Set in London, MobLand follows the Harrigan crime family as they navigate dangerous alliances, rival gangs, and growing pressure from law enforcement. Tom Hardy stars as the family’s unflinching fixer, Harry Da Souza, while Pierce Brosnan plays the patriarch of the Harrigans.

Guy Ritchie and Tom Hardy Reunite

The series also marks the reunion of Tom Hardy and director Guy Ritchie, who last worked together on the 2008 cult favorite RocknRolla.

“I love Guy Ritchie. I’ve wanted to work with him again since RocknRolla. It was brilliant to get back and have a bit more meat on the bone,” Hardy shared with ANI.

Star-Studded Cast

Adding to its appeal, MobLand also features Academy Award-winner Helen Mirren, further enriching its ensemble with powerful performances.

With Season 2 now greenlit, fans can expect more high-stakes drama, gritty action, and morally complex characters as the Harrigan empire fights to survive.
