The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences honoured Tom Cruise, Debbie Allen, and production designer Wynn Thomas with Honorary Oscars at the 16th Governors Awards held on Sunday (November 16) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood.
The evening marked a major milestone for Tom Cruise, who received his first-ever Oscar, joining Debbie Allen and Wynn Thomas in being recognised for their outstanding contributions to cinema and the arts.
A video from the after-party, shared on Instagram by actor Brandon O’Neal, captured Tom Cruise enjoying the celebrations. He was seen dancing on stage with Debbie Allen, smiling and synchronising steps with her as the crowd cheered them on. Cruise also greeted other attendees and mingled with guests, soaking in the celebratory atmosphere of the star-studded night.
