Tom Cruise Arrives in Style At Cannes For ‘Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning’ Premiere

Cannes [France] : Hollywood icon Tom Cruise made a grand entrance at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday night for the premiere of his much-anticipated film Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 61-year-old actor was joined by longtime director and collaborator Christopher McQuarrie as they walked the red carpet, drawing immense fanfare. Cruise delighted fans by taking selfies, signing autographs, and interacting warmly with the crowd. Admirers waved posters and memorabilia from his past films, including The Last Samurai and Mission: Impossible II. Some even paid tribute to Cruise’s Top Gun co-star Val Kilmer.

Cruise’s last appearance at Cannes was in 2022 for Top Gun: Maverick, which received a six-minute standing ovation and earned him an honorary Palme d’Or. That visit famously featured a fighter jet display in the colors of the French flag.

The star-studded cast of Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning includes Simon Pegg (Benji Dunn), Ving Rhames (Luther Stickell), Vanessa Kirby (Alanna Mitsopolis), Hayley Atwell (Grace), Esai Morales (Gabriel), Shea Whigham (Jasper Briggs), Greg Tarzan Davis (Degas), and Pom Klementieff (Paris), as reported by Variety.

The film is scheduled for a global theatrical release on May 23, while Indian audiences will get an early screening on May 17, six days ahead of its worldwide premiere.
