NEW YORK: Natasha Allen, a TikTok star who inspired hundreds of thousands of people by sharing her brave fight against cancer, has died at the age of 28. A message on her social media sites, which had more than 225,000 followers, said that she died on August 22, 2025, after a five-year battle with stage 4 synovial sarcoma.
“Natasha was a beautiful soul full of love, kindness, and joy,” read the touching message on her TikTok and Instagram sites. “She touched a lot of lives and was a strong supporter of raising awareness about synovial sarcoma.” Her spirit will keep inspiring everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
In 2020, Ms. Allen was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her knee, which was first thought to be stage 3. This was the start of her struggle with the rare and severe soft tissue cancer. The cancer came back and spread to her lungs by the end of 2021, even though she had gone through several rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. At that point, it was given a stage 4 classification.
Natasha kept her fans up to date on her sickness by being upfront and honest with them about the good and bad parts of her treatments and how they affected her emotionally. In a video from April 2024, she talked openly about her prognosis, saying, “Officially, I have a 15 percent chance of being alive for five years after being diagnosed with stage 4.” But I’m going to be different. “I’m sending that out into the universe.” People really connected with her upbeat attitude and ability to bounce back from huge problems.
