Kaelin Bradshaw, a TikTok influencer from Florida who valiantly shared her battle with a rare type of bile duct cancer, has sadly passed away at the age of 29. Austin Bradshaw, her husband, broke the sad news on her TikTok account on Wednesday, October 29. He said that she died on Monday, October 27.
A Promise to Fight Until the End
Kaelin Bradshaw was told she had Stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma, a rare cancer that starts in the bile ducts. Austin, her husband, talked on how determined she was after the diagnosis.
Austin said in the video update, “Kaelin was heartbroken and determined from the moment she was diagnosed.” “She told me and our family that she would fight and never give up.”
Austin said that she “kept her promise,” but regrettably, her sickness got worse than her body could handle, so she had to stop fighting. Kaelin passed away quietly at 1 a.m., holding her husband’s hand.
Austin added, “She wasn’t in pain, and our whole family was there for her with love and compassion.” He stressed that she was never alone during her journey. “Her family and I were always next to her, behind the camera and in her ears.”
Mark, her father, also posted a touching tribute on social media, saying, “It is with a heavy heart that we lost our beloved angel today…” Kaelin- Your light touched so many lives, and we shall always remember you. Rest in peace, my love. You will be very missed.
Writing down the trip and giving thanks Her Bradshaw used her TikTok account to share her cancer story, recording videos from the hospital and keeping track of how her treatment was going. Earlier this month, she and Austin started a GoFundMe effort to help with the growing financial load. Kaelin’s last TikTok video, which she posted on October 16, complimented her husband’s amazing dedication and how hard he worked to support her and their family:
He stayed with her every night she was in the hospital.
He was able to work two jobs at once. He even sold his boat and truck to help with money problems.
Kaelin had said that she wanted to help her husband relax so he could spend more time with her. She also said she hoped they may go on a trip together after she was cleared for her next treatment.
