Devotees flock to Shri Poddareshwar Ram Temple in Nagpur and temples across India to celebrate Ram Navami with added joy after Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya
Nagpur, April 6: The spiritual atmosphere in Nagpur’s Shri Poddareshwar Ram Temple reached new heights as devotees gathered in large numbers to celebrate Ram Navami on Sunday. The Mangal Aarti performed in the early hours marked the beginning of an emotionally charged day filled with prayers, chants, and deep devotion.
“The excitement for this year’s Ram Navami is double—after many years, Ram Lalla is finally ‘virajman’ in Ayodhya,” shared a devotee, echoing the sentiments of millions across the country.
Another worshipper at the temple offered heartfelt prayers for the nation:
“I prayed that our country touches new heights of development. May Ramji bless us all.”
Meanwhile, in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, thousands of devotees thronged the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, which was adorned with vibrant flowers and lights in honor of the divine celebration. Pilgrims also took a holy dip in the sacred Saryu River before seeking blessings at the temple.
“I have come all the way from Varanasi to offer prayers at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. It’s a divine experience,” said another devotee.
Additional SP Madhuban Singh assured that large-scale security arrangements and parking facilities had been made for the smooth conduct of festivities.
Across the country, including Delhi’s Jhandewalan Temple, spiritual fervor filled the air as the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri—coinciding with Ram Navami—was observed with devotion and grandeur.
As the first Ram Navami after the historic Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, this year’s celebrations became a national moment of spiritual pride, uniting devotees in devotion, hope, and reverence.
