Mumbai: The Traitors, the Indian adaptation of the globally acclaimed reality show, kicked off on June 12 on Amazon Prime Video, with Karan Johar as the host. The show, which began with 20 players, saw its first major twist in Episode 2 as Raj Kundra was unmasked as a traitor and eliminated.
Apoorva Mukhija, also known as Rebel Kid, played a key role in Kundra’s exit by confidently presenting her arguments and pointing out inconsistencies in his behavior. Her logic convinced many other contestants to vote against Raj, ultimately leading to his elimination.
Reacting to his exit, Raj Kundra said,
“I came to The Traitors to win hearts & friends. As I take an exit, I feel that my wife is right. She says that I cannot lie to save my life, and it’s not who I am. I am glad that I stayed true to myself. I extend my best wishes to all the participants of The Traitors.”
About the Show:
In The Traitors, contestants are secretly divided into two factions — Traitors, who must eliminate the others, and the Faithfuls, whose mission is to expose the Traitors before they themselves are “murdered” in the game.
