Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies have dropped the much-anticipated first trailer for their next underwater comedy adventure, The Spongebob Movie: Search for Squarepants. The film will release in Indian theatres this December, as confirmed by Paramount Pictures India.

In this latest SpongeBob adventure, our beloved sponge sets sail on a mission to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs. His challenge? Facing off against the Flying Dutchman, the iconic ghost pirate from the original series. This sea-faring quest takes him to the deepest depths of the ocean — places no sponge has dared venture before.
