The Simple Secret To Losing Stubborn Weight After 30: A Fitness Coach Explains Why Calories Add Up Gradually

New Delhi: Many people in their 30s and older will attest that losing weight can be considerably harder than when they were younger. Lars Meidell, a fitness coach, posted on Instagram on September 18 about his best recommendations for losing those obstinate pounds and staying healthy.

Meidell started by talking about a popular myth about gaining weight quickly. He showed a picture of a lot of chocolate and said that “7,700 calories of chocolate” is the same as “1kg of fat.” He then went on to say that it is quite unlikely that someone could eat so much in one day on top of their normal calorie consumption.

“So why do we gain weight over time even when we don’t eat a lot of food at once?” he wondered. “People get fat because calories build up over time.”

Lars used a simple, easy-to-understand example to show this. He exhibited a tiny amount of almonds, bread, and chocolate, each of which had roughly 550 calories. He said that if someone eats only one of these small amounts every day for 14 days on top of their normal calories, they will gain 1kg of fat. This slow buildup, which typically comes from snacks or modest treats that don’t appear harmful, is what really makes people gain weight over time.

Lars gave a strong piece of advise to people who want to reduce stubborn fat: “You don’t have to stop eating all the foods you love to live a healthy, happy, and long-lasting life.” But you need to stop making mistakes like these if you want to get rid of those obstinate love handles and get a flat, toned tummy.

He ended his message by stressing how important it is to have a diet plan that is made just for you. “Knowing your daily calorie and protein goals is very important, especially if you are a man over 35.”
