‘The Raja Saab’ Teaser Unleashes Grand VFX, Eerie Ghosts & Prabhas’ Horror-Comedy Avatar

Packed with lavish visuals, supernatural thrills, and a charming Prabhas, the teaser of The Raja Saab offers a spooky spectacle ahead of its December 5 release.

New Delhi, June 16: The much-anticipated teaser of Prabhas’ upcoming horror-fantasy film The Raja Saab was officially unveiled on Monday, setting social media abuzz with its gripping mix of comedy, romance, high-octane VFX, and spine-chilling ghosts. Directed by Maruthi, the film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on December 5.

Clocking in at 2 minutes and 28 seconds, the teaser showcases Prabhas like never before—a charming, fun-loving character who unexpectedly finds himself amidst supernatural chaos. It marks a departure from his typical action-hero image as he delves into a horror-comedy genre, a rare choice for the pan-India star.

The teaser kicks off with a mysterious king declaring a haveli as his “body” and its wealth as his “life.” Prabhas soon finds himself caught in the eerie environment of this haunted mansion. The visuals show him attempting to woo Nidhhi Agerwal with lines reminiscent of Shah Rukh Khan’s romantic flair, only for his light-hearted love story to be quickly overshadowed by terrifying encounters with ghosts.

Chanting divine names and comically sprinting from spirits, Prabhas brings a blend of humour and horror, adding a refreshing twist to his on-screen persona. The teaser is also notable for its cinematic scale, boasting massive set designs, high-end VFX, and ominous atmospherics.

The cast includes Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani, both expected to play crucial roles, though their appearances have been kept under wraps in the teaser. Thaman’s haunting background score amplifies the tension and spectacle, setting the mood for what seems to be an engaging horror ride.

Prabhas took to his Instagram handle to release the teaser, thrilling his fanbase who have long awaited updates on the project.

Ahead of the official release, the teaser was reportedly leaked online, prompting a strong response from the production team. In an earlier statement, the filmmakers issued a stern warning, stating that they would pursue strict legal action against those responsible for the leak.

“We are taking this matter seriously. Any unauthorised sharing or viewing of the leaked content will be met with strict legal action,” the team noted.
