Far-right activist Laura Loomer and conservative commentator Nick Fuentes, who leads the “Groyper” movement, are having a nasty public fight over how much power they have in the Donald Trump administration. The argument on the social media site X was about censorship, political access, and hard work.
Fuentes started the fight by calling Loomer a “Jewish Israel shill” and attacking her harshly. He said Loomer was “untouchable” and had “more influence and access in the Trump administration than all of you ‘Heritage American’ larpers combined.” His own followers “beg and plead on X.”
Loomer says, “Try working sometime.”
Laura Loomer quickly hit back, saying that Fuentes was being hypocritical by complaining about not having enough power. She told him:
“You told people not to vote for Trump, and now you won’t stop complaining that you don’t have any power.”
“You used your group to put up billboards against Trump in swing states during the 2024 election, and you said that Kamala would be better off in office.”
“Why would you be able to get in if all you do is attack Trump?”
Loomer then moved the conversation to their work ethics and asked Fuentes, “What stories are you breaking?” What are you doing to really help our country instead of just complaining and crying all day about how censored you are? She said she worked more than 100 hours a week, breaking stories that had a “NATIONAL IMPACT” and exposing problems like “waste, fraud, and abuse in the government” and “immigration abuse.”
Loomer said that she had also been heavily censored, saying, “I was censored too and I kept working hard.” You don’t remember that I was banned on more sites than you were, but you can never confess it because it goes against your assertions that Jews are never censored. You lie to bolster your case, and you don’t care that I was also debanked and silenced.
She ended her attack by telling Fuentes that he was “his own worst enemy” and that he was driven by anger and envy. Loomer said she got her power by working “incredibly hard” while you “sit on the sidelines and make every single issue in the world about a foreign country while you call Trump a ‘scam artist.'” She finished with a challenge that showed she didn’t care: “try working sometime.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene criticizes Loomer’s power
Loomer is defending her power after Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) criticized her.
Carlson asked MTG on The Tucker Carlson Show, “How does Laura Loomer get to be a Pentagon adviser, but you get primaried?” What is that?—referring to Loomer’s claimed influence in Trump’s political circles.
MTG replied with a “brutal takedown” that called Loomer’s veracity into doubt. “I don’t know.” MTG stated, “I don’t get why anyone takes her seriously.” She then made a direct attack that brought up Loomer’s past problems with owning guns: “This is a woman who can’t even legally buy a gun because she had such serious mental problems.” People who support Loomer have said in the past that the FBI’s refusal to provide her a gun permit was a planned attack.
