‘The Boys’ Final Season Teaser Drops at Comic-Con, Promises More Wild Superhero Chaos!

Fans Get a Glimpse of Extreme Violence, New Faces, and Homelander’s Terrifying Vision

San Diego, California – July 27, 2025 – Fans of the hit Amazon Prime Video series The Boys got exactly what they came for at Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday: a jaw-dropping first teaser for the upcoming final season! The exclusive sneak peek was unveiled in Ballroom 20, following the highly anticipated trailer premiere for its spin-off, Gen V, as reported by Variety.

And boy, did it deliver! According to Variety, this brief but intense teaser was packed with the kind of over-the-top superhero violence that The Boys is famous for. It also offered quick glimpses of both familiar faces and exciting new additions to the cast.

Explosions, Hairballs, and a ‘Supernatural’ Reunion

The action came thick and fast, but a couple of moments truly stood out. Imagine this: a brand-new super character projectile-vomiting what looked suspiciously like a bloody hairball onto another character—yes, you read that right. And then, there was what could only be described as a truly violent explosion in a bathroom stall. Just a typical day in The Boys universe!

Executive producer Seth Rogen, who has made a handful of hilarious cameo appearances throughout previous seasons, was also spotted in the teaser. But for fans of a certain beloved CW series, the real treat was seeing newcomers Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins. Both actors, playing as-yet-unknown characters, appeared in a small scene that’s already being dubbed the latest “Supernatural” reunion on The Boys. This makes perfect sense, as showrunner Eric Kripke, the mastermind behind the CW hit, had already brought in Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles (as Soldier Boy) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (as Joe Kessler) in earlier seasons.

Homelander’s Terrifying New World Order

However, arguably the most chilling and memorable moment of the entire teaser came from Antony Starr’s Homelander. In a powerful, unsettling declaration, he bellows how “this is a safer, more god-fearing nation” to an unseen crowd. This line perfectly sets the stage for the final season’s ominous direction.

Remember, at the end of Season 4, Homelander pretty much muscled his way into the White House, becoming the true power behind the new U.S. president. The country is now under martial law, and Homelander has systematically rounded up The Boys themselves and any other supes who aren’t on board with his terrifying vision to “make America super again.”

‘Gen V’ Crossover Continues

The seamless synergy between The Boys and its spin-off, Gen V, also continues to be a highlight. In the quick final season teaser, at least one Gen V cast member was spotted: London Thor, who plays Godolkin University student Jordan Li. This connection isn’t surprising, especially after Gen V stars Maddie Phillips and Asa Germann appeared in The Boys Season 4 finale as pro-Homelander enforcers who turned on their own classmates and former friends.

And the crossover isn’t stopping there! Fans can look forward to seeing The Boys‘ own Erin Moriarty and Chace Crawford making appearances in Gen V Season 2, which is set to hit screens this fall. Get ready for more wild and unpredictable action as these interconnected superhero universes collide!
