After building anticipation with cryptic posters, Maddock Films has officially dropped the teaser for its upcoming film, “Thama.” Described as a “bloody love story,” the teaser has captivated audiences and sparked a flurry of speculation about the film’s dark and twisted narrative.
The teaser, which was released on Tuesday, opens with an intimate exchange between the two leads. Ayushmann Khurrana’s character asks, “Will you be able to live without me for 100 years?” to which Rashmika Mandanna’s character replies, “Not even for a moment.” Their tender moments are quickly replaced by a dramatic shift in tone, as the screen flashes with images of a menacing villain and Rashmika’s character screaming in pain and rage.
Beyond the lead pair, the teaser also provides a glimpse of the supporting cast, including veteran actor Paresh Rawal and Faisal Malik. A special highlight is the cameo by Malaika Arora, who is set to feature in a dance number. The tension escalates as Ayushmann and Rashmika’s characters are shown fighting fiercely to protect their love, culminating in a chilling final moment with the entry of Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the antagonist.
