Telangana Govt Activates Emergency Support Measures for Citizens Amid Border Tensions

Acting under the directive of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Telangana Bhawan in New Delhi has been designated the nodal centre for relief operations. A 24×7 control room is now operational, having already received around 30 distress calls. Free food, lodging, and medical assistance are being provided to returning residents, with accommodations extended beyond Telangana Bhawan as needed.

The facility also offers transportation support to airports and railway stations, ensuring citizens can safely continue their journeys. A medical camp has been set up for immediate health checkups, and the Resident Commissioner has been actively overseeing arrangements, even conducting a midnight review.

Coordination is ongoing with district administrations in border areas and with the central government to monitor the situation and ensure up-to-date response efforts. So far, eight individuals from Jammu & Kashmir have arrived safely at Telangana Bhawan, where they are receiving care and assistance for their return home.

The Telangana Government reaffirmed its commitment to the safety and well-being of its citizens and pledged to continue monitoring the situation closely.
