Telangana Girl Secures Three Government Jobs Through Self-Study, Aspires To Become IAS Officer

A young woman from Dammapeta village in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Telangana, has set an inspiring example by securing three government jobs through self-study, without any coaching. Bhogi Sammakka, hailing from a modest background, is now setting her sights on becoming an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer.

Speaking to media, Sammakka shared, “My father’s name is Bhogi Satyam, a Hamali worker, and my mother, Bhogi Ramana, is an Anganwadi teacher. I was recently selected as an English Junior Lecturer through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). I also cleared exams to become a Civil Police Constable and a Junior Assistant through Group IV of TSPSC.”

She credited her success to self-discipline and perseverance. “I prepared at home without taking any coaching. People often think coaching institutes are necessary for government jobs, but I believe self-study can lead to success,” she added.

Sammakka’s educational journey began at a government school in her village, followed by intermediate and undergraduate studies at a nearby private college. She later earned a postgraduate degree in English from Osmania University. Returning to her village, she set up a dedicated study space at her grandmother’s house to focus on her preparation.

Her ultimate goal is to crack the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination and serve the nation as an IAS officer. Sammakka’s story stands as a testament to determination and the power of self-reliance.
