Mumbai, April 17 – Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has offered a glimpse into the world of her upcoming supernatural thriller Odela 2, sharing heartfelt moments from promotional events via Instagram. “Forever grateful for this beautiful ride. Odela 2 out in theaters tomorrow, 17th April,” she captioned a series of photos showing interactions with fans, media appearances, and spiritual visits.
Slated to release on April 17, 2025, Odela 2 is the sequel to the acclaimed Odela Railway Station and promises to dive deeper into the mystical elements of the village of Odela and its divine protector. Directed by Ashok Teja and conceived by Sampath Nandi, the film features Tamannaah in a powerful, never-before-seen role. She is joined by Vasishta N Simha, who plays the antagonist, and Hebah Patel in significant roles.
The movie is backed by D Madhu under Madhu Creations in collaboration with Sampath Nandi Teamworks, with a captivating score by B. Ajaneesh Loknath. The first look, revealed on Maha Shivratri 2024, showcased Tamannaah in a striking spiritual avatar—donning traditional garb, holding a Damaru and a sacred staff, and exuding the essence of a mystic Sadhu walking the ghats of Kashi.
Set in a culturally rich village, Odela 2 interweaves folklore, faith, and mysticism, anchored by the divine presence of Odela Mallanna Swamy, the villagers’ spiritual guardian. The ensemble cast includes Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy.
In parallel, Tamannaah continues to make waves with her sizzling performance in Nasha, the latest dance number from Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn. Sung by Jasmin Sandlas, Sachet Tandon, and Divya Kumar, and written by Jaani, the song is gaining traction for its infectious beats and Tamannaah’s commanding screen presence.
“There’s something magnetic about Nasha—it grabs you from the very first beat,” Tamannaah shared. “It’s bold, it’s got energy, and it’s got that undeniable groove.”
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Saurabh Shukla, and Amit Sial. The sequel follows the legacy of its 2018 predecessor, which was based on a real-life tax raid from the 1980s.
