Suspicious Car Found at Al-Falah University Amid Red Fort Blast Probe

Faridabad: The Jammu and Kashmir Police, in coordination with central agencies, on Thursday began examining a suspicious Maruti Brezza (HR87U9988) parked inside Al-Falah University in Dhauj, Faridabad — an institution already under the scanner in the ongoing Red Fort blast investigation.

The discovery follows the tracing of two other vehicles linked to suspects in the case. On Wednesday, a red Ford EcoSport, registered at the Rajouri Garden RTO in Delhi, was found parked outside a farmhouse owned by an acquaintance of Dr. Mohammad Umar Un Nabi near Khandawali village on Faridabad’s outskirts.

According to police sources, the Brezza was located during an extensive inspection of vehicles associated with the accused doctors employed at the university.

“Over 30 cars parked within the medical college premises have been checked, and ownership documents are being verified,” said Faridabad Police spokesperson Yashpal Singh, adding that the Jammu and Kashmir Police team is examining the vehicle as part of the continuing probe.

Al-Falah University came under scrutiny after investigators found that three doctors, including Dr. Umar Un Nabi, the prime suspect who was in the Hyundai i20 that exploded near Delhi’s Red Fort on Monday evening, were employed there.

Investigators suspect that some of the vehicles found at the university may have been used to transport explosives or materials connected to the blast. Teams are now verifying registration details, CCTV footage, and entry records of all vehicles parked in the university’s medical and hostel areas.

Security has been intensified across Dhauj and Khandawali zones as the multi-agency investigation progresses.
