His next project, Gabru (formerly rumored to be titled Safar), has been officially moved from its original March 13 release to May 8, 2026.
Directed by Shashank Udapurkar, Gabru marks a departure from Sunny’s high-octane action persona. He plays a middle-aged family man on an emotional journey of self-discovery. The film also stars Simran Bagga, Prit Kamani, and features a soundtrack by Mithoon.
