Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 16: Actors Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Sooraj Pancholi are set to star together in Kesari Veer, a film based on the historic Somnath Temple in Gujarat. Directed by Prince Dhiman and Kanu Chauhan, the movie will bring to life the courageous story of the unsung warriors who fought valiantly to protect the temple from invaders during the 14th century AD.
Producer Kanu Chauhan shared that this project holds deep personal significance for him, as it aims to shed light on this lesser-known chapter of history. Director Prince Dhiman added that the emotional narrative inspired him to conduct extensive research to ensure the film’s historical accuracy.
Further details about the film are yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty will also be seen in several upcoming projects, including The Legend of Somnath, Welcome to the Jungle, the Lionsgate show Nanda Devi, and Hunter 3.
