Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Member of Parliament from NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar faction), Supriya Sule, on Saturday expressed her heartfelt gratitude following her appointment to the all-party delegation representing India in its global outreach against terrorism.
In a tweet, Sule wrote:
“I am honoured to join the all-party delegation representing India on the global stage. I humbly accept this responsibility and thank Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, Minister Kiren Rijiju ji, and the Ministry of External Affairs.”
She also took a moment to thank her supporters in Baramati:
“I am deeply grateful to the people of Baramati Lok Sabha constituency for your continued support.”
Outlining the mission ahead, she added:
“Our mission is to convey India’s united and unwavering message of zero tolerance against terrorism. We stand as one nation–proud, strong, and unwavering. Jai Hind!”
The seven-member all-party delegation will embark on an international visit later this month. Their goal is to convey India’s firm stance on cross-border terrorism, especially in light of Operation Sindoor, which was launched following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22.
The delegation will visit key global capitals, including countries that are permanent and non-permanent members of the UN Security Council.
The delegation members include:
- Shashi Tharoor (Congress)
- Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP)
- Sanjay Kumar Jha (JDU)
- Baijayant Panda (BJP)
- Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (DMK)
- Supriya Sule (NCP-SP)
- Shrikant Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena)
In a post on X, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju highlighted the importance of the initiative:
“In moments that matter most, Bharat stands united. Seven All-Party Delegations will soon visit key partner nations, carrying our shared message of zero tolerance to terrorism. A powerful reflection of national unity above politics, beyond differences.”
These delegations are expected to reinforce India’s national consensus and resolute approach to terrorism, projecting unity across party lines in the face of global security threats.
