The delightful clip, which circulated widely after being shared by politician and entrepreneur Anil Shetty, shows the two celebrated personalities smiling and dancing enthusiastically to the lively sounds of dhol beats alongside other wedding guests.

The wedding united Eric Mazumdar with Ashley Pournamdari. Eric Mazumdar is an accomplished academic based in the United States, serving as an Assistant Professor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences and Economics at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
The newly married couple hosted a grand wedding reception at the Taj West End in Bengaluru, which was attended by several high-profile guests, underscoring the family’s stature. Among the attendees was the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, DK Shivakumar.

More About the Groom, Dr. Eric Mazumdar
Dr. Eric Vivek Mazumdar’s professional focus is on advanced research and academia. He joined the board of Biocon Limited as a Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director in November 2021.
His research at Caltech focuses on the intersection of engineering and machine learning. He studies both the fundamental limits of learning algorithms within societal systems and the design of machine learning tools intended for deployment in real-world environments, according to a Biocon filing.
