Operation Sindoor: Subhash Ghai, Anu Malik, And Sameer Anjaan Applaud Indian Armed Forces’ Precision Strike

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Renowned filmmaker Subhash Ghai, composer Anu Malik, and lyricist Sameer Anjaan have expressed strong support and heartfelt appreciation for the Indian Armed Forces following the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, a precision strike targeting nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) on Wednesday.

Speaking to media, Subhash Ghai praised the Indian government’s decisive response and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

“No country likes war. No human being supports violence. But terrorism—killing innocent people while they are playing or eating—is against humanity. This war is not about aggression; it’s about justice. We feel proud that the government, especially the Prime Minister, has given a strong reply,” he said.

Music composer Anu Malik became emotional while reflecting on the operation’s significance.

“When I heard the title ‘Operation Sindoor’, it struck a chord. It gave me strength. I cried—because I read a message from a woman on Instagram thanking PM Modi. Her husband had been enjoying the beauty of Pahalgam with her when he lost his life. Today, she feels heard. I want to say this: east or west, our Indian Army is the best,” said Malik.

Echoing similar sentiments, lyricist Sameer Anjaan said the operation was not just military retaliation, but a moral response.

“This is not a war—it’s a fight of humanity against barbarism. Retaliation was essential. It was important to break their spirit and send a message,” he stated.

The comments from the Bollywood fraternity came after a high-profile media briefing by Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, and Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, who revealed that nine terror sites were identified and destroyed in a carefully calibrated strike designed to avoid civilian casualties.

“Operation Sindoor was launched to deliver justice to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and their families. The sites were selected with utmost care to ensure zero civilian loss or infrastructure damage,” said Wing Commander Singh.

According to official sources, the strikes represent India’s deepest incursion into Pakistan’s undisputed territory since 1971, marking a significant escalation in India’s fight against cross-border terrorism.

Locations targeted included Muridke, where Mumbai 26/11 attackers David Headley and Ajmal Kasab trained, along with camps in Sialkot, Barnala, and Kotli.

The operation was initiated in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 civilians were killed in a brutal assault described by officials as an attempt to derail peace efforts in Jammu and Kashmir.
