Washington [US], May 16: Paramount+ has officially announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The new season kicks off with a double-episode premiere on Thursday, July 17, followed by weekly episodes leading up to the season finale on Thursday, September 11.
Picking up immediately after the intense Season 2 finale, the story continues as the crew of the USS Enterprise grapples with the fallout from their dangerous confrontation with the Gorn.
According to the announcement shared by Deadline, Season 3 promises a mix of thrilling adventures exploring themes of faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery—featuring genre-bending episodes unlike anything previously seen in the Star Trek universe.
The series stars Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn. Special guest appearances this season include Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt, and Carol Kane.
Produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment, the show is helmed by co-showrunners Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers. Executive producers also include Alex Kurtzman, Aaron Baiers, and Rod Roddenberry.
