Washington [US]: Simone Ashley, known for her role in Bridgerton, has revealed that she recently parted ways with her boyfriend, Constantin “Tino” Klein. The couple began dating in 2022 and made their relationship Instagram official in March 2023.
Speaking about the breakup, Simone shared, “It’s kind of ironic I’m promoting a rom-com,” adding, “and as of January this year, I’ve been entering my single era,” as reported by E! News. She expressed that she is trying to embrace this new phase of her life. “I’m focusing on me and focusing on my work and my inner confidence,” Simone said, noting that this period feels significantly different from when Bridgerton first came out, describing that time as “so crazy.”
The former couple was last seen together publicly in October 2023, three months before their split. They attended the opening of an art exhibition in London, curated by fashion designer Marco Capaldo, according to the outlet.
Simone first hinted at her romance with Tino in November 2022, revealing that they met during the Grand Prix in Monaco earlier that year. During an interview, she expressed her happiness but did not mention Tino by name. “I’m very happy,” she said. “We haven’t gone public yet and we’re having those conversations about how we can get there before anyone else does.”
In March 2023, Simone finally made the relationship public on Instagram by sharing a heartfelt photo of herself laughing with Tino at a BAFTA Awards after-party. She captioned the picture as “one of my favourite photos,” as reported by E! News.
