SRK wishes Rajinikanth on his 74th birthday; calls him an inspiration

Mumbai, December 13: Indian cinema’s megastar Rajinikanth celebrated his 74th birthday on December 12, with fans and celebrities pouring in heartfelt wishes. Social media platforms were abuzz as admirers and industry icons shared their love for the “Superstar.”

Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan joined the celebrations by calling Rajinikanth an inspiration. Sharing a throwback photo on Instagram, SRK wrote, “To the coolest of the cool. The bossest of all the bosses. The man, the legend, and an absolutely remarkably simple man, despite being the Superest of Stars! Sir, thank you for inspiring us. Be healthy and know you are respected and loved too much. Have a great birthday @rajinikanth sir.”

In the nostalgic photo, Rajinikanth donned a classic white kurta, while SRK sported a red shirt paired with a black blazer, capturing a memorable moment between the two icons.

Veteran actors Mammootty and Mohanlal also extended warm wishes. Mammootty took to X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Happy Birthday Dear @rajinikanth. In a unique tribute, a statue of Rajinikanth was unveiled on December 11 at the “Arulmigu Sri Rajini Temple” in Thirumangalam, Madurai. The statue depicts Rajinikanth in his memorable role from the 1989 film Mappillai, celebrated for showcasing his larger-than-life persona.

As fans celebrated their idol, the occasion highlighted Rajinikanth’s immense contribution to Indian cinema, his legendary screen presence, and his enduring influence both on and off-screen.
