The countdown for Splitsvilla is officially on after the makers released the first teaser for the show’s 16th season on September 12. With Sunny Leone confirmed to return as the host, all attention has turned to the speculation over who will be joining her as co-host this time, replacing the previous season’s host, Tanuj Virwani.
Reports has learned from exclusive sources that two popular fan choices are definitively out of the running, while the makers are narrowing down their options from a pool of popular TV personalities, all sharing the same name.
Rannvijay Singha and Elvish Yadav Ruled Out
Despite fan hopes, especially following his return to Roadies, reality show veteran Rannvijay Singha will not be co-hosting Splitsvilla X6 alongside Sunny Leone.
A source confirmed, “Rannvijay Singha will not be returning to the reality show as a host alongside Sunny Leone.”
Similarly, speculation that popular personality Elvish Yadav, who recently joined Roadies as a gang leader, might take up the co-hosting mantle has also been put to rest. Our information confirms that he, too, will not be joining the show.
A ‘Karan’ Might Take the Throne
The suspense now rests on a set of familiar faces. The source revealed that the makers are currently considering a few well-known names from the industry to join Sunny Leone, and the common thread is the name Karan.
The list of potential co-hosts reportedly includes:
- Karan Tacker
- Karan Veer Mehra
- Karan Wahi
- Karan Kundrra
While a final confirmation on the new co-host is still awaited, the casting promises a significant shift in dynamics for the 16th season.
Looking Back at Splitsvilla X5
The previous season of the show premiered on March 30, 2024, and was hosted by Sunny Leone and Tanuj Virwani. The season saw Jashwanth Bopanna and Akriti Negi emerge as the winners, though the couple later parted ways.
With the call-for-entries promos already circulating, the excitement is soaring as ‘Splitsvillans’ await the revelation of the new male host who will be bringing the drama and romance to the villa.
