Speaker Mike Johnson Suggests Trump Was An FBI Informant Against Jeffrey Epstein

WASHINGTON – U.S. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson made a shocking revelation to the press that seemed to show that President Donald Trump had worked as an informant for the FBI against Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted child sex offender. The claim came as Johnson tried to separate the President from Epstein’s group and change the way Trump talked about the issue in public recently.

Johnson claimed, “Donald Trump didn’t call Jeffrey Epstein’s actions a hoax,” which goes against what Trump said on social media. “He thought it was a horrible, unspeakable evil.” Johnson went on to say that Trump “kicked” Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago, his Florida resort, when he first heard about what he was doing. He then had the nerve to say that Trump had also been a “FBI informant against Epstein.”

This claim is important since the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) have never publicly said that Trump was an informant. The statement is also very different from what Trump has said recently on his platform, Truth Social. Trump branded the case a “Democrat Epstein hoax” in a long post. He has used this phrase to talk about other investigations, like the ones looking into Russian influence in the 2016 election.

Trump criticized Democrats in the tweet for “befriend[ing],” socializing with, and going to Epstein’s island, saying they were pretending to care about the victims now. He also said that the “dying… Epstein case was only brought back to life by the Radical Left Democrats because they are doing so poorly” in the polls. He ended his letter by calling the DOJ to “end the Democrat Epstein Hoax” and to give Republicans credit for their work.

Johnson’s comments also come after a recent split in the MAGA camp, which was seen in a film by right-wing activist James O’Keefe. The video that was supposedly taken covertly showed a high-ranking person at the DOJ saying that the names of Republicans and conservatives will be taken out of the Epstein files, but the names of Democrats and leftists would stay in.

The President and the Speaker’s contradicting stories show how politically sensitive the Epstein case is right now, especially since more documents are being made public and unverified suspicions about political manipulation of the list are still being spread.
