New Delhi [India], January 20: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has opened up about his directorial debut Fateh, highlighting a unique collaboration with Grammy-nominated composer and vocalist Loire Cotler.

The film, which focuses on the battle against cybercrime, features a compelling musical score, with Cotler contributing her composition and vocals for the track “Call to Life.” Cotler, known for her work on Dune and her role as the lead vocalist for Hans Zimmer’s live band, composed the powerful song for one of the film’s high-intensity action scenes.
In a recent interview with ANI, Sood discussed his creative process, stating, “When I was writing the film, I didn’t want loud music. The music had to resonate with the scenes, and I wanted the audience to feel connected emotionally. I’ve always been a fan of Hans Zimmer, and his work has influenced me deeply. When I came across ‘To the Moon,’ I felt it captured the essence of the film perfectly.”
Sood also spoke about Cotler’s role in shaping the film’s sound. “Hans Zimmer had spoken highly of Loire in an interview, praising her intensity and vocal range. I’m fortunate to have her on board, and her voice truly became the soul of Fateh,” he said.
The film’s music album features a stellar lineup of playback singers, including Arijit Singh, B Praak, Sukhwinder Singh, and Honey Singh, among others. “The music of Fateh is one of the best we’ve had in recent times,” Sood added.
Released on January 10, 2025, Fateh has garnered praise for its gripping action sequences, choreographed by international stunt director Lee Whittaker, known for his work on Captain Marvel and Fast & Furious 5. The stunts were filmed in multiple international locations, including Istanbul, Dubai, and the United States.
This film marks a major milestone in Sood’s career, being his directorial debut. Fateh, based on real-life events from the COVID-19 pandemic, addresses the growing issue of cybercrime. The movie also features an ensemble cast, including Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, and the legendary Naseeruddin Shah.
