Tirumala (Andhra Pradesh) [India], June 2: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood visited the sacred Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala on Monday morning to offer prayers. Clad in a peach pink kurta, the actor sought blessings at one of India’s most revered temples, which draws millions of devotees every year
After his visit, Sonu reflected on his personal spiritual journey and revealed that this was a significant moment for him.
“When I came here for the first time, it was 25 years ago. Today, I came with my family. I pray for happiness, peace, and prosperity for all in the world,” said Sonu Sood.
During the interaction, the actor also announced his upcoming film project ‘Nandi’, in which he will take on dual roles as both actor and director. The project is set to begin soon.
Sonu Sood recently received the Humanitarian Award at the 72nd Miss World Festival held in Telangana, in recognition of his extensive philanthropic work during the COVID-19 pandemic. The honour celebrated his commitment to humanitarian causes and social upliftment through his charitable foundation.
The actor was also among the official judges for the Miss World grand finale at HITEX Arena in Hyderabad, where he joined an esteemed panel in selecting the next Miss World.
