Mumbai, Maharashtra | July 30, 2025: Padma Shri recipient and celebrated playback singer Sonu Nigam today marked his 52nd birthday with a double treat for his fans: the announcement of a multi-city music tour titled ‘Satrangi Re India Tour’ and the release of a poignant new single, ‘Kahani Meri’.
The ‘Satrangi Re India Tour’, produced and conceptualized by NR Talent & Event Management and BookMyShow, promises to take fans on a “love-laden musical journey” across seven cities. The tour schedule includes performances in:

Adding to the birthday celebrations, Sonu Nigam gifted his fans ‘Kahani Meri’, a new single that beautifully blends Hindustani and Carnatic classical influences. The music video for the song was filmed amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Leh, metaphorically reflecting life’s quiet introspection and soulful journey. The track is composed by PVNS Rohit and has been released on Sonu Nigam’s independent label, ‘I Believe Music’, with distribution by Global Music Junction.
In a heartwarming gesture, Nigam launched ‘Kahani Meri’ today alongside his youngest fan, Vedarrth, who coincidentally shares his birthday and turns one this year. “Over the last four decades of my musical journey, my fans have showered me with so much love and I’ve always been very grateful for that. I love each of you – my extended family – for embracing my work. Satrangi Re 2025 is a way of celebrating our symbiotic bond of love through different colours, each depicting a specific emotion,” Sonu Nigam shared in a press note.
