Washington, US – February 17 : Paramount+ has announced that Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will begin streaming in the US and Canada on February 18. The third film in the popular franchise, based on SEGA’s video games, will also be available in additional international markets on Paramount+ at a later date, according to Deadline.

Fans can also catch up on the earlier films, the Knuckles spin-off series, and a retro animated series available on the platform. The new movie follows Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails as they battle a new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious hedgehog with extraordinary powers.
Directed by Jeff Fowler, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 stars Keanu Reeves as Shadow, with Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Krysten Ritter, Natasha Rothwell, and Shemar Moore in supporting roles. The film is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, Toru Nakahara, and Hitoshi Okuno, with executive producers including Haruki Satomi, Shuji Utsumi, Yukio Sugino, Fowler, Tommy Gormley, and Tim Miller.
As of now, the Sonic franchise has grossed over USD 1.2 billion globally, and the next installment, Sonic the Hedgehog 4, is scheduled to hit theaters on March 19, 2027.
