Amid escalating tensions in West Asia following US-Israel strikes on Iran, actor Sonal Chauhan has revealed that she is stranded in Dubai after flight operations were suspended across the region.
Taking to Instagram, the Jannat actor appealed directly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking government assistance for her safe return to India.

In her Instagram Story, Sonal wrote that flights have been cancelled and there is “no clear way to return to India,” requesting guidance and support from the Indian government. She also tagged the Ministry of External Affairs and the Consulate General of India in Dubai for help.
The disruption comes as missile strikes and retaliatory attacks have led to airspace closures and heightened security across major Middle East hubs, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Riyadh.
Besides Sonal, Indian badminton star PV Sindhu is also reportedly stranded at Dubai airport. Sindhu was en route to Birmingham for the All England Open, with Dubai as a transit stop, when airport operations were halted.
Tensions surged after a joint US-Israel operation targeted Iran, triggering retaliatory strikes by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard on US-linked facilities in the region. Reports of blasts in Dubai and precautionary evacuations have added to uncertainty, though several viral videos circulating online remain unverified.
As airspace restrictions continue and flights remain suspended, stranded passengers — including Indian nationals — are awaiting further guidance from authorities.
