Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 6 : Director Girish Kohli and actor Sohum Shah have decided to revise the climax of their recently released thriller Craxzy after receiving mixed feedback from viewers regarding the film’s ending. Following the massive success of Tumbbad, Sohum returned with Craxzy, which was well-received for its engaging trailer and his compelling performance. However, many viewers expressed disappointment with the film’s climax, feeling it detracted from the overall thrilling experience.

Taking audience feedback into account, the filmmakers have announced that they will be modifying the climax to enhance the film’s impact. The updated version of the film, featuring a new and more thrilling conclusion, will be available in cinemas starting Friday.
Sohum Shah shared his excitement on social media, thanking the audience for their overwhelming support. He wrote, “Making films is only half the journey—your love completes it. The overwhelming support for Craxzy has been truly humbling. We can tell these stories because of audiences like you, who stand by us and inspire us. Many of you shared that you wanted more from the climax. We hear you. To make your cinematic experience better, more immersive, thrilling, and insightful, we’ve tweaked the climax a little bit with a little surprise thrown in too—catch the new version in cinemas starting this Friday.”
Written and directed by Girish Kohli, Craxzy is produced by Sohum Shah, Mukesh Shah, Amita Shah, and Adesh Prasad, with Ankit Jain as co-producer. The film was initially released in cinemas on February 28, 2025.
Sohum Shah, known for his nuanced portrayal in Tumbbad, continues to impress with his choice of roles and productions. Fans can also look forward to Tumbbad 2, which is currently in development.
