Sohail Khan Meets Punjab and Haryana CMs, Receives Warm Welcome and Bhagavad Gita

Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], May 20: Bollywood actor Sohail Khan met with the Chief Ministers of Punjab and Haryana during his visit to Chandigarh, receiving a warm welcome and praise for his work and persona.

Taking to social media platform X, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann shared his experience of hosting the actor at his official residence.

“Today, Bollywood’s famous actor Sohail Khan came to meet me at Chandigarh residence. I got the opportunity to entertain him. Sohail Khan appreciated the love being given by Punjab and Punjabis,” Mann posted.

Earlier in the day, Sohail Khan also paid a courtesy call on Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. During the meeting, CM Saini gifted the actor a copy of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, highlighting the state’s tradition of cultural exchange and respect.

The BJP Haryana unit shared a photo of the moment on their official X handle, captioning:

“Film actor Sohail Khan paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri @NayabSainiBJP ji. On this occasion the Chief Minister presented him Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.”

In the images, Sohail Khan and CM Saini can be seen posing together, reflecting a cordial and respectful interaction.

Career Highlights

On the professional front, Sohail Khan is known for his multi-faceted work in Bollywood as a director, producer, and actor. He made his directorial debut with the 1997 action film ‘Auzaar’, starring his brother Salman Khan and Sanjay Kapoor. He followed it up with successful projects like ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ (1998) and ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?’ (2005).

Sohail also marked his acting debut with ‘Maine Dil Tujhko Diya’ (2002), a film he also wrote, directed, and produced. He later appeared in the blockbuster ‘Dabangg 3’, among other projects.
