Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], July 20: Actor SJ Suryah is making a directorial comeback nearly a decade after his last film with his upcoming project titled ‘Killer’. The actor took to Instagram to share the first look posters, giving fans a glimpse into his intense new avatar.
One poster shows Suryah standing beside a luxury car, holding a gun, while another features him with actress Preethi Asrani, who plays the female lead. From the visuals, Suryah appears to portray a gangster skilled in firearms, and Asrani is expected to be his romantic interest in the film.
‘Killer’ is backed by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner Sree Gokulam Movies, with music composed by Oscar-winner AR Rahman. Plot details are currently under wraps, but anticipation is building quickly among fans.
This film marks SJ Suryah’s return to the director’s chair after 2015’s ‘Isai’, which also featured him as a debut music composer. ‘Isai’ was his first directorial since 2010 and starred Sathyaraj and Sulagna Panigrahi.
In parallel, Suryah is also gearing up to co-star with Ravi Mohan in ‘Bro Code’, directed by Karthik Yogi, known for ‘Dikkiloona’ and ‘Vadakkupatti Ramasamy’. The project will be produced by Ravi Mohan under his banner, Ravi Mohan Studios, although a release date has yet to be announced.
