Kuwait City [Kuwait], December 21: During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s historic two-day visit to Kuwait, singer Mubarak Al Rashed performed the patriotic Indian song “Saare Jahaan Se Accha” at the community event #HalaModi, held at the Shaikh Saad Al Abdullah Indoor Sports Complex in Kuwait. This visit marked the first time in 43 years that an Indian Prime Minister visited the Gulf nation.
Al Rashed expressed his pride in the strong relationship between Kuwait and India, mentioning that PM Modi spoke highly of Kuwait and emphasized the deep ties between the two nations. Al Rashed also conveyed his pride in being Kuwaiti and noted that PM Modi encouraged Kuwaitis to visit India.
On his arrival in Kuwait, PM Modi was warmly welcomed by prominent Kuwaiti leaders, including the country’s first Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya. In his departure statement, PM Modi mentioned looking forward to discussions with the Amir of Kuwait, the Crown Prince, and the Prime Minister, aiming to establish a forward-looking partnership benefiting both countries and the broader region.
