Mansa (Punjab) [India], March 18: The younger brother of late Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moosewala celebrated his first birthday on Monday, marking a bittersweet moment for the family and close friends. The occasion was attended by family members, with notable figures including former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.
Channi shared a heartwarming video from the celebration on his Instagram, showing the toddler in the arms of his mother, Charan Kaur. The family gathered around to cut the birthday cake, with Channi offering a piece to the child after the ceremony. The little boy was dressed in a black kurta, pyjama, and a pink turban, with a large cutout of Sidhu Moosewala in the background. The venue was adorned with colorful balloons, creating a festive atmosphere.
Balkaur Singh, the father of the birthday boy, stood beside his wife and son during the celebration. He had previously shared the joyful news of the newborn’s arrival last year on Instagram, thanking well-wishers and sharing the family’s gratitude for the blessings.
“With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh’s younger brother in our lap. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy, and I’m thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love,” Balkaur Singh wrote in his post.
Sidhu Moosewala tragically lost his life on May 29, 2022, when he was shot by assailants in Mansa. The 28-year-old was struck with over 30 rounds, and he was later found slumped in the driver’s seat. His legacy lives on, and this birthday celebration for his younger brother served as a poignant reminder of the family’s strength and the love they continue to receive from fans.
