New Delhi [India], March 1: Renowned Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal has informed her fans that her X (formerly Twitter) account has been hacked since February 13, 2025. Despite her best efforts to regain control, she has been unsuccessful in retrieving her account.
Taking to Instagram, Ghoshal shared a post with her followers, saying, “Hello fans and friends. My Twitter / X account is hacked since February 13th. I have tried everything in my capacity to reach out to the X team, but there has been no response beyond a few auto-generated responses. I am unable to even delete my account since I can’t log in anymore.”
The singer warned her fans to avoid clicking on any links or trusting messages posted from her hacked account, as they may lead to spam or phishing sites. Ghoshal reassured her followers that she would update them personally through a video if she was able to recover her account and confirm its safety.
This incident comes at a time when Ghoshal has been in the news for her support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to combat obesity. The singer recently endorsed the Anti-Obesity campaign, calling it “the need of the hour” as India continues to make strides on the global stage.
Shreya Ghoshal was also nominated by Prime Minister Modi to join the fight against obesity, alongside prominent figures like actors Mohanlal, R Madhavan, and Nirahua.
