Shots Fired At Kapil Sharma’s New Cafe In Canada; Khalistani Terrorist Claims Responsibility

Surrey, Canada – At least nine gunshots were fired at Kapil Sharma’s newly opened cafe in Surrey, British Columbia, in a shocking incident that has sparked international concern. The cafe, called Kap’s Cafe, marks the Indian comedian’s first venture into the restaurant business, co-managed by his wife Ginni Chatrath.

According to a report by NDTV, Khalistani terrorist Harjeet Singh Laddi has claimed responsibility for the attack. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the shooting.

Surveillance footage and social media videos dated July 9 show a man firing at least nine shots from inside a vehicle outside the restaurant.

Harjeet Singh Laddi, a Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) operative from Nawanshahr, Punjab, is on the NIA’s most wanted list. He has been linked to multiple terror-related cases and was chargesheeted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) last year. This included his alleged role in the murder of Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Vikas Prabhakar, also known as Vikas Bagga, in Punjab.

The incident has heightened security concerns, especially around Khalistani-linked extremist activities in Canada. Kapil Sharma has not yet released an official statement on the attack.
