The holy town witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with over 2.5 lakh devotees from across the globe flocking to Shirdi to seek blessings. Of the total donations received, ₹1.67 crore was in cash, reflecting the deep faith of the devotees in Shirdi Sai Baba.

“We thank every devotee who contributed. The festival was celebrated with great devotion and spiritual fervour,” said Darade.

Ram Navami Celebrated Nationwide with Devotion and Harmony

In Nagpur, a beautiful gesture of communal harmony added a unique layer of joy to the celebrations. Members of the Muslim Sewa Samiti continued their long-standing tradition of showering petals on Hindu devotees during the Shobha Yatra.

“This tradition started in 1993. Our message is brotherhood,” said a member of the Muslim Sewa Samiti.
“Nagpur is the city of unity. We celebrate all festivals together—be it Ram Navami or Milad-un-Nabi.”
