Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 29: As the 2007 family drama Apne completed 18 years since its release, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, marking the milestone on Sunday by sharing a heartfelt video on her Instagram Stories.
The video featured scenes from the film, including moments with veteran actor Dharmendra and co-stars Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, all set to the film’s touching track Apne To Apne Hote Hain, which added to the emotional throwback.
Directed by Anil Sharma, Apne was a landmark film for the Deol family, bringing together Dharmendra and both his sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, in a single story for the first time. Though the trio had previously acted in pairs, this was their first project together on screen, making it a memorable cinematic moment for fans.
Shilpa Shetty played a pivotal role in the sports drama, which revolved around Baldev Chaudhary (Dharmendra), a former boxing champion determined to reclaim his lost honor through the achievements of his sons, Angad (Sunny Deol) and Karan (Bobby Deol).
