Recently evicted Bigg Boss 19 contestant Shehbaz Badesha has opened up about his disappointment during the ‘Family Week’ segment, revealing he was visibly upset that his father visited the house instead of his celebrity sister, Shehnaaz Gill.

In a conversation, Shehbaz expressed his love for his sister and his strategic reason for wishing she had come.
“I wanted Shehnaaz to come and guide me about the game. I love Shehnaaz a lot,” said Shehbaz. “I felt that if my father came, it might affect my game because he didn’t know much about what was happening inside, and he might say something unknowingly that would weaken my game. So I really wished Shehnaaz had come.”
A video clip of Shehbaz sharing his disappointment with housemate Amaal Mallik during the family week had previously gone viral, highlighting his strong emotional attachment and reliance on his sister’s guidance.
Defends Father Against Social Media Trolling
Shehbaz’s father, Santokh Singh Sukh, drew massive attention and subsequent trolling on social media for his energetic and playful interactions with the female contestants during his stay in the BB 19 house.

Reacting to the online criticism his father received, Shehbaz was dismissive, pointing out that the reaction was two-sided.
“It wasn’t just him. The other side was responding in a similar way too, so why blame only him? If he’s getting trolled, let people troll. People will say whatever they want. It doesn’t affect us,” he stated.
No Regrets After Eviction
Shehbaz, who entered Bigg Boss 19 as a wildcard, was evicted just one week before the grand finale. Despite missing out on the final week, the aspiring musician maintains a positive outlook on his journey.
“I have no regrets. I had a wonderful time inside the Bigg Boss house. I am thankful to Bigg Boss for giving me that experience,” the former contestant told IANS.
Meanwhile, sister Shehnaaz Gill has been openly supporting her brother, even wearing a T-shirt imprinted with his photo during the promotions of her movie, Ikk Kudi, and sharing a warm welcome home post on social media, proudly calling him a “winner.”
