Unlike previous years, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan did not make his traditional Eid balcony appearance at Mannat, leaving fans waiting outside disappointed. However, he did not forget to send festive cheer online.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), SRK shared a heartfelt message:
🕌 “Eid Mubarak… With gratitude in my heart and duas for one and all!! Hope your day is full of hugs, biryani, warmth and endless love. Stay happy, stay safe and may God bless you all.”
Fans eagerly wait for Eid every year, as it’s a time when the Khans of Bollywood step out to greet their admirers. While SRK was absent from the scene this time, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan took time to acknowledge their fans outside their residences.
Salman Khan’s Eid Celebration & ‘Sikandar’ Performance
On Monday evening, Salman waved at his fans from Galaxy Apartment, accompanied by his niece and nephew. Due to security concerns, his balcony has recently been fitted with bulletproof glass.
Dressed in a traditional white kurta-pyjama, Salman looked overjoyed and later took to Instagram, writing:
“Shukriya Thank you aur sab ko Eid Mubarak.”
Meanwhile, his Eid release, ‘Sikandar’, has had a mixed response at the box office.
- The film earned ₹54.72 crore globally on Day 1.
- Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that while the film had a decent opening, it failed to match the numbers of Salman’s previous Eid blockbusters.
- Piracy concerns may have affected the collections, with reports stating that the film was leaked online before release.
Despite this, Monday’s Eid holiday is expected to boost the film’s box office numbers.
Aamir Khan’s Eid Gesture Wins Hearts
Aamir Khan also joined in the festivities, stepping out of his residence with his sons Junaid and Azad. The trio, dressed in matching white kurtas, greeted the media and fans warmly.
In a heartwarming moment, Aamir hugged his sons and also distributed Kaju Katli to the paparazzi, spreading Eid joy.
A Celebration with Mixed Moments
While SRK’s absence left fans missing his annual Eid greeting, Salman and Aamir’s public appearances added to the festive spirit. Meanwhile, the fate of Salman’s ‘Sikandar’ at the box office will be closely watched in the coming days.
