Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 31: The makers of Dabba Cartel, starring Shabana Azmi, have unveiled the teaser for the much-anticipated series. Featuring an all-women lead cast, the series also stars Jyotika and Sai Tamhankar in pivotal roles.
Directed by Hitesh Bhatia, Dabba Cartel tells the gripping story of five middle-class women and their families, whose lives take an unexpected turn when they become involved in a drug trafficking syndicate. As the women navigate the perilous world of crime, the investigation into the male employees of a pharmaceutical company, Viva Life, adds another layer of tension.
Veteran actor Gajraj Rao also plays a significant role in the series. In the teaser, which lasts one minute and nine seconds, Shabana Azmi portrays a powerful businesswoman driven solely by the principle of profit and loss. As the women-led cartel begins to thrive, Sai Tamhankar, who plays a determined cop, intensifies her efforts to uncover the illegal drug operation.
Shabana Azmi shared the teaser on her Instagram handle, sparking excitement for the upcoming series. Dabba Cartel will be available for streaming on Netflix starting February 28, produced by Excel Media and Entertainment.
