Selena Gomez once again proved her fashion prowess with a stunning appearance at the Academy Awards. The actress and singer graced the red carpet in a dazzling off-shoulder rose gold Ralph Lauren gown, adorned with crystals that shimmered under the spotlight.
Styled by Molly Dickinson, Gomez’s look was inspired by the iconic Sophia Loren. She even worked with Loren’s tailor to customize the gown, as reported by E! News correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi, according to Page Six.
The gown featured over 16,000 glass droplets and Rosemont crystals, all meticulously hand-sewn by a team of 12 artisans, creating a breathtaking effect. Gomez accessorized her look with sparkling Bulgari jewelry, including a diamond choker necklace, matching earrings, and two diamond rings, in addition to her engagement ring from fiancé Benny Blanco.
While Gomez didn’t receive an individual nomination for her role as Jessi Del Monte in Emilia Perez, the musical-crime film garnered 13 nominations that evening, the highest of any film.
