Washington (US), March 23: Selena Gomez delighted her fans by announcing the release of her long-lost song ‘Stained’ after nearly eight years. The track, recorded during the sessions for her 2015 album Revival, had never made it onto the final album but is now available exclusively for a limited time.
On Saturday, Gomez shared the exciting news on her Instagram, thanking her fans for keeping the song alive and showing their continued love for it. “Eight years later and you guys never forgot about this song,” she wrote. “Your love for ‘Stained’ has never gone away, and I wanted to do something special to say thank you for all the love and support on the album. ‘Stained’ is now available exclusively on my official store for a limited time only. #Stained.”
‘Stained’ was leaked in 2016 but never officially released until now, sparking excitement among Gomez’s fanbase.
In addition to the release of ‘Stained’, Gomez also dropped her highly anticipated new album I Said I Love You First earlier this week. The 15-track album, which marks her first full-length collaboration as a couple with her fiancé Benny Blanco, was released under SMG Music, Friends Keep Secrets, and Interscope Records.
Gomez and Blanco, who confirmed their romance in December 2023, have been open about their relationship. Recently, Selena celebrated Blanco’s 37th birthday on March 8 with a heartfelt message, “I’m not sure what I did to deserve you, but damn am I glad you were born. Happy birthday, baby,” she wrote. The couple also revisited the restaurant where they had their first date and recreated the dish they had, sharing this special moment with fans.
The couple’s engagement was announced in December 2024, according to People, and they have been a favorite among fans ever since.
