Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) [India]: Film producer Sarvesh Goel, who participated in the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj, described the event as a deeply spiritual experience.

Speaking with media, Goel expressed his admiration for the seamless organization of the grand festival and said:
“This is an auspicious sight that can only be felt by those who come here. I thank and congratulate the Central and State government and the authorities for their hard work and management.”

Unprecedented Devotee Turnout

On the 36th day of the Maha Kumbh Mela, massive crowds continued to gather for the sacred bath at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.

As of Monday, more than 52 crore devotees had attended, marking it as the largest human congregation in the world.

Security and Crowd Management

The Prayagraj Railway Station witnessed a significant influx of pilgrims, prompting authorities to maintain high alertness for smooth crowd management.

Security was reinforced with local police and central agencies, ensuring safety and seamless movement of devotees.

On Sunday, CRPF Director General G P Singh reviewed security arrangements and commended the coordination between Uttar Pradesh Police, CRPF, and other agencies.

A post on CRPF’s official X (formerly Twitter) account stated:
“In Prayagraj, DG GP Singh assessed security arrangements for Mahakumbh, guiding CRPF officials on balancing vigilance with seamless public assistance. He appreciated the fine synergy between UP Police, CRPF, and all agencies involved while commending their hard work so far in maintaining security.”
