Sanjay Khanna Assumes Additional Charge As Chairman & Managing Director Of Bharat Petroleum

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), one of India’s leading oil and gas companies and a Fortune Global 500 enterprise, announced that Sanjay Khanna has taken additional charge as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the company. He currently serves as Director (Refineries) at BPCL.

An accomplished professional, Khanna is a Chemical Engineering graduate from NIT Tiruchirapalli and holds a postgraduate degree in Finance Management from Mumbai University. With over 30 years of experience in refinery operations and technical services, he has led several significant initiatives at BPCL.

Khanna previously served as the head of both Kochi and Mumbai Refineries. Notably, during his tenure as Executive Director of Kochi Refinery, he played a critical role in the commissioning of BPCL’s first Niche Petrochemical Project, the Propylene Derivative Petrochemical Project (PDPP).

In addition to his current roles, Khanna serves on the Boards of Bharat Petro Resources Limited and Ratnagiri Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited. He also chairs the Technical Committee for Petroleum Refineries under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG).
