New Delhi [India], June 18: Actress Samyuktha has officially joined the cast of director Puri Jagannadh’s next big project, which stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. The film remains untitled, but is already generating buzz with a star-studded lineup that includes Bollywood icon Tabu in a key role.
The announcement was made by Puri Jagannadh himself via Instagram, where he welcomed Samyuktha, describing her as having “grace in her stride” and “fire in her eyes.” The film is being jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under their banner Puri Connects.
In an earlier update, the makers introduced Tabu to the cast with much fanfare, calling her presence “electric” and “explosive,” while hinting that she would be playing a “dynamic” role. However, further details about her character are still under wraps.
Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates, especially given the powerhouse talent attached to the project.
Meanwhile, Tabu is also set to star in Bhooth Bangla, a horror-comedy directed by Priyadarshan, reuniting her with Akshay Kumar after 25 years. Produced by Balaji Telefilms and Cape of Good Films, Bhooth Bangla marks a comeback collaboration between Priyadarshan and Akshay, known for past hits like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Garam Masala.
